“Mocking Bird Hill Hotel is run by Shireen and Barbara with the utmost attention to detail and care for their guests and the environment. The shutters to my first floor room opened out so that it felt like I was sleeping in the trees.
The menu is changed every day, and made up of locally sourced organic and seasonal ingredients In the restaurant, I was impressed with exquisite homemade bread, flavoured butters, and an impressive wine list.
Shireen takes time to tailor-make every guests’ trip, organising hikes into the Blue Mountains, or rafting on the local river. During Hurricane Sandy, which hit Port Antonio hard, guests were treated to cookery classes while the storm raged.”
