Introduction

Increasingly holidaymakers are choosing hotels which employ environmental best practices Hotel Mocking Bid Hill is one of the pioneering tourism enterprises in the Caribbean which has been spearheading the development and promotion of sustainable development. This commitment to environmentally conscious and socially responsible tourism was the motivation and guiding force for the establishment of Mocking Bird Hill, one of the first four properties worldwide to be accredited by Green Globe. We continue to strive towards minimising our impact on our beautiful surroundings, improving our efficiency, reducing our usage of valuable resources while enhancing the experience for our guests. This report focuses on the improvements we have made since the last report in 2003.
