Transportation from airport:

From Montego Bay the guests have 2 options (assuming they all arrive together) either to charter a plane and fly to Port Antonio and be picked up the local aerodrome and transferred to the hotel by bus. The flight time is approximately 40 minutes with approximately 30 minutes driving time from the Port Antonio aerodrome to Port Antonio.
OR
To hire a bus to transfer them from Montego Bay to Port Antonio directly. Total driving time is approximately 5 hours plus any breaks.

The airfares below are not firm quotations, but are listed to give an indication of cost :
Option 1)
Charter flight for 5-9 persons from Montego Bay to Port Antonio:

For larger groups up to 19 persons the charter will cost approx.:
US$ 3,600.00 one way
The bus transfer from the local aerodrome to the hotel is US$ 15.00 per person one way.

Option 2)
Ground transportation for a maximum of 20 persons with luggage from Montego Bay to the hotel US$ 75.00 one-way or US$ 1,500 for 20 pers. Maximum 16 persons can be seated comfortably with luggage in the bus. For groups with more than 16 persons a separate vehicle will be provided to carry the luggage.

From Kingston, we recommend ground transfer since the national and international airports are far apart and the transit time between the 2 would not make flying worthwhile. Transfer from Kingston to Port Antonio US$ 38.00 per person .

Ceremony Site:

At Mocking Bird HiIl, you can select from a few possibilities that are offered ranging from the bar terrace with spectacular views or in the gardens or in the wedding gazebo – a natural setting surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, and flowering shrubs. The natural setting provides the backdrop and provides a simply, relaxed elegant setting whereby the site of the wedding is decorated with tropical flowers, orchids, white organza.

We recommend that the bridal couple faces their guests. The best man and brides maid or ring bearer (if you opt for one) can stand behind you with the wedding officer's back to the guests (rather than having the backs of the bridal couple facing the guests; this helps to make the wedding more personal).

For larger groups the guests will be seated on chairs on the lawn.

We can also arrange for the wedding to take place at the beach. An additional location fee of US$ 450.00 is charged for this which includes a coconut arch built over the site as well as the seating arrangements for the guests.

• An indulgent package with body care products using local produce such as coconut body lotion, coconut and molasses soap, relaxing foot bath and body oil

Music/Band:

The regular band will play background music during the reception and dinner and if desired dancing music afterwards covering approx. 4 hours and will bring the necessary PA system with them. They can extend their time if requested.
