A Caribbean wedding at Hotel Mockingbird Hill in Jamaica is everything that your special day should be: intimate, romantic, private and tailored as sophisticated or laid back as you the two people who are exchanging their vows prefer.

Whilst you decide on the finer details of your wedding we undertake all the clunky admin parts of getting married in Jamaica. We insure that your wedding is nothing less than fun and eco-friendly so you can indulgently look back in the future without a guilty conscience.

Marriages don’t come ready boxed nor are they something that should be spoilt by feeling that you are one of many on your day.

 

For that reason our on-site wedding co-ordinator only undertakes 1 wedding per week allowing her and the Hotel Mockingbird team to focus completely on you. She will work with you on all arrangements with respect to catering, floral and other decorations. Music and entertainment can be arranged before your arrival with additional costs varying depending on the size of the event, the number of guests and your specific preferences.

 

Ceremony Venue

Most of our weddings take place in the afternoon (3.00-4.00 pm in the winter and 4.00-5.00 pm in the summer to enjoy the best light). We offer a range of locations to get married, at the beach, alongside the Rio Grande following a romantic raft down the river or at the Hotel, in the gardens or in our art gallery. The ceremony is followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

 

 

For intimate weddings with just the bridal couple we serve a romantic 4-course 'Surprise Menu' candlelit dinner in the gazebo accompanied by wine of your choice.

 

 

For larger parties, we offer a choice of locations such as either the restaurant, the bar terrace or the gardens depending on number of guests and the menu selection as well as time of the year and expected weather conditions.

If you would like to have a larger wedding in the company of your family and friends, the entire hotel must be reserved by the wedding party for their friends and family particularly if you are planning entertainment and music.
