Some couples quite simply want an occasion where the focus is just on them without the worries of a larger ceremony, whilst others simply want to quietly reconnect & recommit, either celebrating the success of their relationship or perhaps recovering from a difficult period together. An Intimate Romantic Venue
There are a number of beautiful romantic intimate venues in or around the tropical, lush North East coast of Jamaica where Hotel Mocking Bird Hill can arrange your Vow Renewal Ceremony to take place. Whether you would like it conducted in the hotel’s tranquil organic gardens, in our art gallery “Carriacou”, at one of the world’s best beaches Frenchman’s Cove, or at the end of a romantic raft trip down the Rio Grande, all can be arranged.
Generally couples chose to have their Vow Renewal ceremony late in the afternoon, when the sun is lower and the light is softer; if you prefer to have yours at sunset let us know and we can arrange this accordingly.
Religious or Secular
Whether you prefer a religious or secular ceremony using your original vows, new ones that you have written yourself or ones you have found browsing our collection of vow ceremonies used around the world, we can make the appropriate arrangements. No officially recognised license is available with this ceremony but we can provide a certificate.
Candle-lit Dinner
To finish your special day we we can create an organic, candle-lit dinner that suits your personal tastes-buds, utilising the very best from our locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. For those who believe no vow ceremony is complete without cake, as part of our Renewal Vow Ceremony we bake one of our famously moist & rich Jamaican fruit cakes ready for you to share.
